Mahallati writes: Ramla, the mother of Qasim ibn al-Hassan (PBUH), is one of the ladies who were in Karbala on Ashura Day. The presence of this respectful lady in Karbala is evident in the famous books on Ashura.
Majlesi writes: Qasim, the son of Ramla was martyred after fighting bravely. When he fell on the earth, his uncle, Aba Abdullah (PBUH) went beside him. But he was dying. He carried his body and put it next to the martyrs of the Prophet’s progeny.
He is the teller of the very famous speech «احلی من العسل» on Ashura night that meant “death is sweeter than honey”. It is to be mentioned that he was not matured enough on Ashura Day. Abubakr ibn Hassan (PBUH) who was also martyred in Karbala was one of the brothers of Qasim (PBUH) both of whom had the same mother.
