Shahid Jahanara’s Letter to Imam Khomeini

jahanara

Since the day the war began to the moment that Khoramshahr fell, for a month I saw Karbala constantly. Our Lord, grant us patience and strengthen our steps and helps us to defeat Kaferin! My God, the World Creator, and the one who listens to our outcries, and the love of good people! I thank you for the chance you give me as your little sinful slave and the human being to reach you by Shahadat(martyrdom) syrup.
I do not have any will for any one, but I have a handful of pain and suffering. I want to write them down on this piece of paper like an arrow to the black hearts of those who have not felt this freedom and have destroyed and killed a nation and a world for their world.
My God, you are my witness that I have paid for this freedom by devoting my whole life and soul. In spite of all the pain and suffering my heart pressed by after the revolution, I was patient. However, I know the nouveau riche heads have not perceived the value of this freedom because they have never been in captivity spending their time in cafeterias of Paris, London , and Homburg,…..
Imam! to the moment, we have the blood in our vessels as the innocent young adults of Islam, we never let your line which is linked to the lines of Messengers and God’s friends down even for a second.
Imam! I as a person who saw Karbala of Hussein in Khoramshahr and fluttering of Khoramshahr’s youngs, I have something to tell you from the depth of my heart,
“Since the day the war began to the moment that Khoramshahr fell, for a month I saw Karbala constantly. Every day, after enemy’s heavy attacks and when my comrades’ screams killed the wireless off, I went to my room and began crying and yelled at God, the creator of the world not to want us degradation and abject miserery.
