Birth Anniversary of Aba-l-Fadhl al-Abbas (PBUH)

It was still night when Ali (PBUH) returned home and said: “The full moon will appear before dawn.” Then Umm-ul Banin felt the labor pain. The gates of the heaven were opened, and the angels were falling like rain.

After a short time, the bright full moon of Bani Hashim began to grow light. The father kissed his hand, the brothers –Hassan and Husain – kissed his other hand, and Zainab was kissing his forehead. The mother was amazingly looking at her brilliant moon and the rain of kisses from men and women of the Paradise to his heavenly hands, the holy hands that narrated generosity and loyalty, the hands that gave the reputation to water and showed the true courtesy, the hands of that brave youth who became the water-carrier of the whole history and satiated the thirst of humanity, the hands that gives aid to the needy and directs who have gone astray, the hands of Abbas, the hands of Aba-l Fadhl.
