Ali ibn Husain (Ali Akbar)
He was born on Sha’ban 11th, 33 A.H. Ali or Abu al-Hassan was titled as Akbar, because in accordance with most authentic traditions he was the eldest son of Imam Husain (PBUH). His mother, Laila, was the daughter of Abi Marrab ‘Urwab Mas’ud Thaqafi, and from the point of dignity and handsomeness there was none who could be compared with Ali Akbar (PBUH). Ali Akbar was similar to the prophet in his features and speech.
He roared like a lion and attacked the kufan army several times and killed many of kufan soldiers until the enemy, after losing so many soldiers, regrouped themselves and waged a fresh assault. It has been narrated that although being thirsty, Ali Akbar killed two hundred enemy soldiers.
D.A.C.I. would like to congratulate you the birth anniversary of Ali al-Akbar (PBUH).
