The Fourteenth Station: Tha’labiyyah

TIME OF ARRIVAL: Dhu al-Hijjah, 22nd

Tha’labah was a man from Bani Asad tribe who had built an aqueduct in this station, so it was called Tha’labiyyah.

SOME IMPORTANT EVENTS:

Some have reported that the visit of Farazfaq to Imam Husain (PBUH) and receiving the news of Muslim’s martyrdom had been in this place. The meeting of the Imam with Abahirah Azdi, Accepting Islam by Wahab ibn Abdullah and his mother and joining the caravan, and retelling the story of Yahya by the Imam are some other events mentioned in the related sources.
